Ozipedia does not collect anything about you. This page exists to say exactly what that means, and to name the few things that are true anyway.
The same thing that happens on any website: your browser asks our host for the page, and to answer, the host receives your IP address, the page you asked for, and what your browser says it is. Ozipedia is served by Cloudflare, which keeps that information briefly in its own logs to run the service and to stop abuse. We do not build profiles from it, we do not join it to anything, and we do not sell it.
That is the whole of it for a reader. No part of your visit is recorded against you.
Typing a ZIP code into the homepage box runs a small script in your browser that turns what you typed into a link and sends you to it. Nothing you type is transmitted anywhere before you arrive at a page, and nothing about it is stored.
The corrections form is the one place on Ozipedia that sends anything to us. It submits the ZIP code, the section you named, what you wrote, and — only if you choose to fill it in — an email address so we can reply or ask a follow-up question. Nothing else is attached to it.
Those reports go into a database we control, hosted for us by Supabase. Members of the public can add to that queue and cannot read it. We use what you send to check the claim and fix the page, and for nothing else. We keep the reports, because publishing a record of what was wrong and when we fixed it is the point of having a corrections process at all — but a published correction describes the error, never the person who reported it.
You can also just email corrections@ozipedia.com, in which case we have your message and your email address, as with any email.
If you want a report or an email deleted, ask us at the same address and we will do it.
Ozipedia pages link to ourzip.com, a separate service run by the same company, for information that is genuinely live rather than stored. Following one of those links takes you to a different site with its own privacy policy. Nothing about you travels with you when you click.
Ozipedia is a general reference work and is not directed at children. Since we collect nothing from readers, we hold no information about anyone’s age.
If any of the above stops being true — if we add analytics, or an embed, or anything that puts a third party between you and a page — this page changes before that ships, not after. Last updated 23 August 2026.
